Attendance

Students must be present in the school on the reopening day and also the last day before the terminal holidays begin.
Absence on the First day of a term or after festivals will be punishable and will be entered into the pupil’s record.
All applications for leave should be made in writing with the signature of the parent or legal guardian of the pupils and should reach the Principal before the commencement of the class. Oral or phone messages will not be accepted.
No pupil may absent himself / herself without obtaining leave previously in writing. If for any grieve reason, a pupil is absent without prior leave, or her return she must present a letter from her parent, stating the reason for absence and obtain permission before entering the class. For absence of more than five consecutive days, the parent himself or herself must meet the principal with the pupil.
Pupils who attend the morning session, should obtain prior leave, on their own, if they intend to absent themselves in the afternoon. The letter of the parent is necessary for such leave unless the pupil gets ill during school hours.
Absenting oneself for the sake of studying for examinations is not permitted.
